Dr. Ana Romero-Iribas

Ana Romero-Iribas is a Spaniard philosopher and Associate Professor at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Spain). Visiting Scholar at Harvard (2018), University of Leeds (2015) and Univ of Navarra, she got a Fulbright grant in 2022, to develop the project "Educational Ethics in the 21st Century" at Harvard. Ana’s research focuses on both educational ethics and friendship studies. She specifically explores the social and political aspects of friendship, and its anthropological, psychological, ethical, and educational dimensions, co-authoring and collaborating with colleagues in friendship studies. Ana serves as a member of the Editorial Board of AMITY: The Journal of Friendship Studies, is a member of the Research Project “21st European Teachers”, funded by the European Commission; and of the Consolidated Research Group on Educational Innovation and Improvement at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos.
